Having trouble with car not starting

My wife's car 07 G35 wont start all the lights on the dash light up and everything, and there is no clicking noise. I just replaced the battery today and the car wont start at all. I looked through the fuses and couldn't find a blown fuse. I've read through some threads and some mention that the throttle needs to be clean and the other says that the car might be disabled by the alarm. can you guys please help me out with the problem at hand.

thanks

I'm not a car guru but the same thing happened to our benz. Our mechanic changed the crankshaft position sensor and now everything is fine. Once again, I am no expert and I don't even know what a crankshaft position sensor does...

Do you know the location for the 07-08(G35)of crankshaft position?

I found this:
https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...n-sensors.html
but I'm not sure if its the sensor you're talking about

could be a bad starter, starter button, or maybe a security system disable. If the battery was replaced without the use of a memory saver it is possible the security system has disabled the car. I suggest calling a Nissan or Infiniti tech and ask about that possibility.
does the "apply brake" icon appear on the cluster display?

it doesn't start at all I pressed the start button and all hear is click sound. All the light in the interior do start. we did try to jump the car but that didn't work thats why I got a new battery.

I was told too that the battery was not holding the charge.

the apply brake does appear when the key is around the ignition.

I pressed the brake and the start button but I don't hear a crank

where is the TCM located? I think they are charging me too much for what they want to do.

I was originally thinking that the ECM just had to be reset but they told me NO.

TCM has nothing to do with starting the car

The dealer says that the TCM is not communicating with the ECM and not letting the car start

Did you hear cranking with the old battery or just not with the new one? I would be surprised if something like a TCM disabling the ignition would not light up a check-engine light. I am kind of surprised that something with the auto tranny could prevent startup but these cars are so damned complicated nowadays!!!
