I brought my car in for warranty work (Sunroof rubber, rear window making noises and heated seats not working properly) and they gave me the 06 g35x as a loaner. I am impressed with this car, its very responsive. The interior is no where as nice as my g35x but I like how responsive the throttle is. If you just step on it at any gear, it just downshifts right away and feels pretty peppy.

I know my car is faster if I press on it all the way but I wish my car felt this responsive. Has any one noticed this or am I the only one.

That's funny. I have an 06 loaner right now (no X).

It's slow as hell, the interior really sucks, and the engine isn't nearly as good.

In fact, I told the dealership that if I had showed up a year earlier -- I would have taken my money elsewhere. Boy do I not like the 06.

OP - how hard do you drive your '07?
It learns your driving style...

I agree with the original poster. The loaners Ive got do feel more responsive for some reason. Though ultimately my 07 does feel faster, the low down torque isn't necessarily there compared to an auto X
