My G is getting sapped !

At first I thought my chrome was pitting, but then I noticed tiny specs ll over the car, including the windows. Almost like sandpaper to the touch, Some sort of sap/excretion from the trees in the area.

Fortunately, it washes right off, but its back in an hour !!! Thought a good waxing might make a difference but no such luck. Its starting to annoy me!

Any other owners have such an issue??

I dont recall having this 'sap' issue before. Of course I never cared as much before!!

Its been going on for a few weeks now. I wonder if its just a fluky local/ seasonal thing that will stop soon, or if this will be an ongoing issue.

I generally keep the car outdoors in the summer/spring/fall (so I dont get nicked by the wife opening her car door in our tight garage) - and only park indoors during the winter months. Really dont wany to park indoors all the time now, but I may just have to.

Any advice??

TMG

mine comes off almost with a hose - my issue wasn't taking it off - it was that is keeps on coming back!

pollen sounds quite possible - in fact I am allergic, and these past few weeks have been really bad on me - I hadn't put two and two together!

now all I need it an anti-pollen wax!!

Hey -- what claybar would you guys recommend? I'm looking through the detailing section, figured I'd ask here too.
