when i press the hands free button on the steering wheel, the system used to say please say a command followed by a beep. now all i get is a beep without the command. i think there is a way to turn that back on. ive looked for many days now so thats why im posting this now

 

Do the voice commands still work???....if they do it might even be better now its off. You don't have to wait for it to say please say a command *beep*, thus faster response time to your action requested.

 

ya they do just the fact that i wanted to know if i can turn it back on and how to do it, if i needed to and then to turn it back off. ive been seaching for a while now. and still nothing.

 

I think you need to bring it in for service. i don't remember anything about turning that feature off.

 

I envy you. I wish mine wouldn't say anything and just beep.

"Minimize Voice Feedback" is selected. I have this active on mine as well.

 

It's in Settings-Others

 

I prefer the minimized setting... saves time.
You can STILL get the feedback by pressing the "voice" button on the center console. Pretty cool.

 

i think it goes off when you turn off voice guidance

 

this is great ive been wanting to reduce the voice time for awhile im gonna try this out. will be especially helpful and reduce time when programming phone numbers.
