My first mod!!

One of my few complaints is that the metal trim on the shift **** gets HOT when the car sits in the parking lot for a few hours here in Southern CA. After scorching my palm a few times, I decided to make my first mod.

It's a purple velvet shift **** cover, courtesy of Seagram's Crown Royal!

Here's how to do it:

1. go to any liquor store. BevMo is always good for a discount.
2. Buy Crown Royal Reserve.
3. Remove bottle from purple velvet bag.
4. Put bottle in freezer.
5. Take purple velvet bag to car, insert over shift ****. Presto! You're done.
6. Go back in house, take Crown Royal out of freezer, pour a shot, drink.

Total time to install: 2 seconds.

Warning: Do not become confused and bring the Crown Royal to the car. I am not encouraging anyone to drink and drive!

Another Mod, this time to your hand.

1. go to any liquor store. BevMo is always good for a discount.
2. Buy Crown Royal Reserve.
3. Remove bottle from purple velvet bag.
4. Go back in house, take Crown Royal out of freezer, pour a few shots, don't drink yet.
5. Wait till the shift **** is really hot from the sun/heat, or heat it with a lighter.
6. Drink shots.
7. Grip shift **** tightly, the heat will scar your hand, it will hurt, but won't anymore.

I wish I could answer your question. I'm not as mechanically inclined as many others on the site.
