Would This fit as another option for the rear view camera?

hey guys, just wondering if i can get the tech package without getting navi. i know most of you have said you cant but on the infiniti.ca website it just says the tech package requires the premium package. although when i select it, it adds on the navi package too...

In the US, nope. Since it added it in when you tried to build the car online, I'd say there is not difference in Canada.

Nope, no difference in Canada. If you want the Tech package, you'll be required to purchase the Premium and Navi packages as well.

Don't forget too that with the Navi package you also get the Music Box, Compact Flash slot, and Voice Recognition. I am not sure if those additional features would be useful to you, but it's something to think about at least. I personally am extremely glad that I got the Navi package.

Btw, the FX is sooooooooo damn sexy......nice ride bro.

the rest of the features dont really interest me so i guess ill have to pass on the tech+navi.

on a side note, would something like this fit for a rear view camera:

since we already have the monitor, just hook it up in a way it turns on when i go into reverse...would it work?

I went through the same debate with myself over the tech package...I saw no sense in spending 2100 for nav when I didn't want it, just to spend another 1100 to get several features that were "neat" but not really necessary. Instead, I just got premium and spent $554 on a Garmin Nuvi 660 and couldn't be happier.

Btw, I didn't know that there was still some voice recognition in the car without the nav package. I love being able to hit the phone button on the wheel and just say a number that I want to call without having to touch anything.
