I am thinking about going to larger width, but I am not sure about the size of our stock rims. Are the two front rims the same size/width as the rear ones? Who has the spec on all of them. Please help. I want to go 265/40R18 for all four wheels or 255/40R18. I think the 245 on the rear that came with our car are just way too small. They don't look fat enough for the car and its power. The front 225 are just way too small and way too thick for sports cars. Thanks

 

Front= 18x7.5
Rear= 18x8.5

 

Can I fit, safely, using 265/40R18 on the stock rear rims? and can I fit, again safely, using 245/40R18 on the stock front rims? What do you guys think of this combo?

 

too wide....car is goin to sway too much. ALOT OF UNDERSTEER!!!!

 

The poor sidewall support from running such wide tires on narrow rims would probably negate much of the benefit from the increased tire width. I recommend getting wider rims to go with the wider tires.

 

How about 245/40R18 for the front stockers and 255/40R18 for the rear? What do you guys think of these combo?

 

The overall diameter would be too small.
