Anyone in Cali feel like helping me out
I know this probably isn't a realistic request, but does anyone with an 07 sedan in Cali wanna do me a huge favor and test fit some Zenetti wheels for me
. i wanna go with a staggered setup (20x10 in the rear) and i dont wanna go through what ive already been going through for the past month which is ordering rims from Cali, waiting a week for them to get to Miami, and then having them not fit and send them back (this has been going on for the past month and a half with another manufacturer). i called Zenetti and they said they make the rims i want with a +43 offset, but as we all know, a +40 in one brand will fit, and a +45 in another will not. they said the rims could be machined down another 5mm at the factory effectively making them +48 which i would think would work, but i just wanna be sure.
I know its kinda a ridiculous request, but if by some miracle of god theres actually someone in Cali that would be willing to do this, let me know. I'll paypal you $20 for gas or something afterwards. i just want my damn rims already, this has been such a huge pain in the *** so far.

you didnt specify where in cali they need to be to test the wheels. I would be more than happy to if it was in socal and i had an 07, but i've got an 05.

the reason i didnt specify is because
A) i didnt think anyone would actually do this for me, and
B) i need to negotiate that part with the zenetti representative
im assuming it could be done at their factory, or somewhere near to it, however i need to call them tomorrow and figure out where that is exactly...
just figured id toss the request out there first and then get down to the specifics

as far as getting a 20x9.5, the selection is very limited and frankly i havent really found a style that i like that arent ridiculously expensive.

I'm willing to help for a set of wheels or something comparable. Keep in mind my 07 G35S Sedan is lowered with Eibach springs. I could literarily walk to Hawthorne from where I'm located. PM me when you have a moment.
his asking if someone can stop by the factory to test fit the size and let him know what is a perfect fit for 07 g35, as a favor!! his not offering anything but im pretty sure Zenetti might give some discount when u buy some rims just for helping them out too.
lol did this guy just say he'd help me out for a set of wheels or something comparable? i really hope he wasnt being serious.
sure, i could buy you a set of wheels to test fit some rims for me.... ORRRR i could use that same money (which i dont have) to buy a more expensive set of 3 piece rims which i know would fit... tough choice

I'm fairly certain the wheels offsets are really what the manufacturers say they are. As you know, there are many suspension variables that deternine how the wheel fits. The wheel will fit differently depending on whether or not the car is lowered and whether or not the camber is in spec. When you check out the data base, pay attention to the suspension set up as well.
Doing the math for a 20" wheel, every degree of camber will move the top of the wheel in-board roughly .175" (4.4mm).
Another alternative is to check out other manufacturers. I'd suggest DPE as an alternative. They actually cut the wheel centers specific to the vehicle to achieve the desired offset.

^ yeah, i thought of that. im gonna call the closest couple dealers tomorrow, but i highly doubt they will have the wheels with the offsets that i want. you never know though.
