Yeah, I only ever use the button.

I have an '05 loaner while mine is in for service, and I have pushed on the door handle like 3-4x already, to no avail. Likewise, I have to actually put the key in the ignition and whatnot, its really weirding me out. haha

if you have auto entry and exit, and use the door request, it will move teh seat, but it's not moving it to the memorized position. it's moving the seat the last known position, which may not necessarily be the same.

I am the only driver of my car and once I got the seat where I like it I have never changed the position, so I don't think this is the case. Also you can tie the memory presets to the FOB, so it doesn't matter how you open the car, once the car senses the FOB it will sync with the memeory position you have assocatied with that FOB.
