Anyone out there have the Infiniti Nose Mask? Does it include the Hood portion? Lastly, does it go on with snaps or clips under the fender?

I am pretty close to ordering one, since I seem to have a lot of paint chips on my front bumper. Although the chips really bother me, I have a long commute and the roads in the Bay Area don't help the situation.

I know that these can be a 'PITA', but I would rather go through the extra hastle, versus agonizing over the paint chips in my bumper.

Yes, that's it. It looks pretty good. I am thinking that it will look good on my G35S, as well, given that it is Platinum Graphite.

I didn't think that it had the hood piece, since there is a real tight seal when the hood is shut.

clear bra might be another idea if u dont like how the bra looks on the ride.

The 2004 model from Infiniti was in 2 pieces, front 6 inches of the hood, and the remainder.

On 2 occasions, after the struggle with the bottom part, I've forgotten the hood portion.

 

I saw an LP G last night at Sam's Boat in Austin,TX, that had one on. It doesn't look bad at all, but the problem is that it only covers the bumper--doesn't go up to the top of the grille.

 

I really don't understand the bras, I mean I get it that you don't want rock chips or whatever. However, this is just wear and tear of cars and it's not like it brings down the price of the vehicle by a lot. I think it looks tacky...it's like putting a rain cover on your golf club set when it's not raining.

My friend and I had a big argument about this. He was arguing that he would rather spend 300 dollars on a clear bra then an intake system or radar detector. I just don't understand why people would do this to their cars, it looks hideous in my opinion.

 

nose mask may be a good idea if you are driving across the country, or frequently on roads with gravels.

 

My clear bra is only noticeable close up. IMO the pits and chips look far worse to me than a clear bra. The front of my '02 Maxima ended up with such a sand blasted look after all these years I couldn't let the G get that way. I need to post pics of my Maxima since it is likely the G would look the same at 60K miles without the additional protection.
