M Shift ****

Anyone ever looked into switching out the 5A shift **** with the M35/45? Looks to be a little shorter...

Not bad looking and it does match my interior.I wonder how labor intensive it is?

Dunno what it would cost but I think it would great on a Sport (white threading) with graphite. I wouldnt think that the labor would be bad, probably just a matter of pulling out the center console.

Anyone done this before? Just wondering if it is physically possible.

If i had an auto, i would want that to. The M has one of the nicest auto shift ***** out there IMO. BTW that 08 M interior is so much nicer now without the amber lights.

That definitely would look great in the G and would match the white stitching on the steering wheel and the seats for those that have the Sport. I'd much prefer this shift **** to mine.

I did find a thread last night where someone had made the switch on a 1st gen sedan but it required quite a bit of modifications. I'm thinking that the 07+ might share some parts with the M making the installation easier.

Price on the **** and shift boot was somewhere around $100 if I remember correctly.

question for those with auto g's...to put it in tip mode is it like the M were you pull it closer to your body (left) or like the maximas were you push it further out to the right?

^ You pull it closer to you for manual mode, like the M.
