Talking custom foglights w/ lots of pix

i finally got this mod done, didnt thought it would work due to the lack of space behind the grille but i manage. took about 2 hrs do it and im very happy with the outcome. i took a few pics for you guys if anyone wants to do it.
if anyone dont know its a foglight hidden behind the lower grille, grille was dremel out and a custom one was put on. these are actually some cheap aftermarket fog that were given to me and i decide to use it since its there. the visability isnt much or if any, i just installed these cause i like how you have a fog look in the lower grille. infiniti should have thought about this just like the M35/45s.

lets start out with the final outcome..

dremel off the stock lower grille, no vents so i made my own. went to home depot bought some chicken fence, painted gloss black.

silicone the chicken fence and some black tape just in case it falls off, you never know.

installing the foglight bracket, pasenger side is a pita because the water reservoir is on the way, it barely fit so if your using a bigger foglight it will not fit.

relay and all the wires are mounted here with a screw

all in all everything went well, the best part is i only spent 3 bucks total cause i had all the hardware from my previous G.

do you think i should change out the fog bulb to yellow? or just leave it as it?for some reason the foglight came out stock white/orange, its actually blusish.

good job..nice touch on mounting them to the car itself rather then the bumper like i did. Can you post a few day shots, im curious about how the look. Heres a few better shots of mine.

BTW the lenses is not blue, thats a reflection when I took the pic.

Great job bro, they look awesome! Do you have them wired to the headlight switch or a separate switch?

I thought you said you're car was done?????

Great job on the foglights!
What's the wire in the 11th picture doing? It's tied to the bumper and bottom of the body.

thanx shane, i had it wire up to the parking lights. i much rather prefer this cause i wont have to manually turn on these fogs.

i mounted these onto both ends of the reinforcements. didnt thought it would work but it does. the only prob is the pasenger side has a tight fit.

How difficult is it to remove the front clip? I've taken new cars apart before, but for some reason, removing the front clip on a $40k car scares the crap out of me! But, if it's relatively easy I might give it a shot.

Very nice man very creative! How does the chicken wire look with the stock grill inserts that are in the middle? does it look funny cuz its two different styles? I want to do something similar to this. What kind of fog lights did you go with and how bright are they?
