Vibration at 40MPH
Vibration at 40MPH
I have noticed lately when I am braking to slow down my car starts vibrating (steering wheel) at 40MPH and its ONLY when its exactly at 40MPH and I hit the brakes (gently or not so gently)
Any ideas?? I am about to take it to the stealer..

If your steering wheel is vibrating only when on the brakes, start with the brake rotors.
Sounds like they may have hard/hot spots, or running out of true.
Depending on the level of the above conditions, you may only feel it at certain speeds.
What kind of miles do you have, and how hard are you on your brakes?
