TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results - 2007 Infiniti G35
The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending June 30, 2007. Late responses could lead to further changes, but these are unlikely to be large.
For the 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan, I have an average of 3.8 months of data on 28 cars.
The stat of 90 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.9 per vehicle) is worse than average for a 2007 model.
That said, nearly all reported repairs involved either detached sunroof trim or the passenger seat heater. Both are known issues covered by TSBs, and should not affect more recently produced cars. The repair rate will likely be much lower when results are next updated, in November. (Unless, of course, people only realize one of the seat heaters isn't working when cold weather returns.)
The results do not include recalls, warning light resets, or reflashes.
Results are posted with an asterisk for other model years, because the number of responses was between 15 and 24. In general, reliability seems about average for the G35.
Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thanks, I literally couldn't have done it without you. Those who aren't yet helping out, I hope you'll consider doing so.
