I have noticed that my passenger window makes short whistle like sound when going over 100. Have any of you guys experienced this? Should I have the dealer check this out? Thanks!

 

I experienced it starting at about 120 - since this is the first time I've heard it in ten months with the car, it being the first time I've hit that speed, I'm not too worried about it. Will mention it next time I take the car in (mine was more of a howling sound).

 

it's kind of hard for them to test it out at at speed.

 

Yeah, I get a noise, kind of like a whistle or a honk, at speeds above about 90. I'm not sure exactly wher eit is coming from, I can't really isolate it. Mirrors, sunroof, windows, not sure. Since I only get it at speed well above the legal limit, I figure the dealer ain't gonna do much.

 

Hmm I've gotten it too, but not always at 85+ its is kind of like a squealing
from the front passenger side window. . . I can't seem to figure out what it is. . .strange. . .if anyone figures it out let me know

and yea going to a dealer and saying when im doing 90MPH i get a squealing sound. . who knows how they'll respond. . .

but I'll likely give it a shot when I'm there again

Just as an update, I made an appointment at Glendale Infiniti to have this checked out. They scheduled an appointment for me to take the car in with the said descriptions, but said they can't do anything when I actually arrived at the dealer. What annoys me is that they could have just told me this when the appointment was being made.

The service manager's comment was that he has never heard of such a problem in his 29 year career including Ferrari... It sure sounds like there IS something wrong with my car since it doesn't happen to other cars.

Anyhow, I wasn't expecting much from the dealer (like most of you guys), but their demeanor was very poor.
