I have had the 2007 G35S sedan about three weeks and I am stumped. Sometimes when I turn off the car and open the driver's door to exit, I get four rapid beeps, over and over, and sometimes I don't.
I check to see if I manually left the lights on but this happens during the day too.
Any ideas?

 

Probably you opened your door just before turning off the car - it'll beep if you do

 

i get thet same thing, in my case its usually that i leave the key fob in the car so it lets me know. it will also beep if you try and lock the doors without closing them all the way.

That makes sense. I tried it and your replies are right on.
I do have a habit of opening the door before I power off the engine.
I didn't realize that it was "Operator Error"!
I knew the car was trying to tell me something, I just didn't know what it was saying.
I do love this new ride!

Welcome and yea those beeps are annoying.

But I always open the door before shutting down. I just press the plunger on the door frame to stop if from beeping

 

Happens to me too, very annoying at first but I've gotten used to it. Funny thing is I still do it every now and then. Hard to break a habit I guess.

 

I think we all open our door befor we shut it off. I always get the beep...actually i like it..helps me to not forget the key if i have it in the slot or if i leave my lights on EVEN THO THEY SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY EVENTUALLY
