Bluetooth Cell Phone Transfer Call?

Anyone know if the 2007 G35 Bluetooth system allows a cell phone call initiated from the car to be transferred back to the phone without hanging up?

In my other car ('05 Acura MDX) you can tell the system "TRANSFER CALL" and it will switch from the vehicle speakers to the cell phone. Very convenient when getting out of the car or shutting down the car when at a gas station.

I have not yet figured out how to do this in the Infiniti G35.

Thanks.

If you go to the phone menu you can press the "Use Handset" option.

Will test the handset option on the G35 LCD screen

I don't think I ever noticed the handset option on the G35 LCD screen, will need to look again.

I recall once I did shut off the car but the Motorola clam shell phone was shut so it never kept the call.

Thanks!

You can either hit the "answer" button on the steering wheel and say "transfer call" or when you shut off the car, the call will transfer automatically. That's how things work with my phone. It may depend on your phone though. I have a Sony Ericsson slider and not a clamshell so I'm not sure if certain clamshell units hang up on you automatically if they're shut. You may want to fiddle with your phone's settings.

While you're talking, I know you can just select "Use Handset" and it'll transfer the call over to your phone.

you have just a G35x premium -- no navi-- so it should automatically transfer to your handset when u turn off the car... or on the phone itself you might have to switch modes instead of through the car

When u turn off the car it just transfers automatically. Also if ur on the phone and turn on the car it will automatically transfer to the car.

BTW the bluetooth distance is incredible. I was getting my windows tinted and someone called me while I was in the waiting room about 30ft away and the bluetooth picked up. I did not know what was going on.

"USE HANDSET" from the menu, while in phone display.
