Bra front cover

I am looking to get a bra front cover for my 2007 G35 sedan. All I can find on the internet is the clear bra. Is there any that are the leather type material one for this model?

eww....dont get the leather bra when you can get a clear bra! Granted is a little more expesive but its nearly invisible and it does just as good of a job as the leather!

I got a leather mask for my 2006 coupe. The fitment was bad and it ended up making scuff marks all over my bumper! The off fit might be because the mask is for the non-sports bumper, who knows, but it did not specify. So my suggestion is don't get it. You might end up doing more damage than good.

Make sure you get refferals to a reputable installer! It's the workmanship that makes for a good install.

Clear bra is better

Leather bra will trap moisture, flap from wind during high speed driving, and abrade the paint.

The clear bra is great. I have it and love it.

If it's a leather bra installed by a professional, it might be worth the risk. The one I had was a user-install piece, which I would not recommend to anyone. I bought the self-installing leather bra for the same purpose; for long trips only. But I was shocked that it actually damaged my paint!

wow all this time i thought it was just a simple put on and take off when ever you want to use it. I didn't know you had to get it professionally installed for a leather bra.

I've never seen a "professionally" installed leather bra either. The black fitted bras are actually made of thick vinyl usually with a flannel liner against the paint.

The one I used to have a long time ago was made by Colgan Custom. It worked, and was snug fitting, but it was a pain to remove and reinstall every time I washed the car and whenever it got wet. Dirt and dust always got caught under there too. On the plus side, it offered better protection from "bigger" flying objects and is less expensive than a clear bra.

Having used both, I would go with a clear bra. It is a bigger investment, so you will have to make the call based on your situation (such as if your car is leased).

Thanks for your insight. If you don't mind me asking how is the leather bra installed? Are there hatches, velcro or buckles to secure on the car?

There are metal tabs covered with felt (or flannel) that are placed in locations around the perimeter of the bra as necessary. The tabs are bent as required to hook around fenders, wheel wells, between sheet metal on the car, etc.

Check out their website:
