Key Fob - Panic Button

Any way to disable the panic button on the key fob?? More than once, while getting into my car, I guess the panic button got accidentaly pressed! I'm surprised the button is recessed into the key fob!

Maybe buy a key cover? That should spread the force of whatever is pressing the button. Or less-tight pants?

As far as I know, you have to hold the panic button for 2-3 seconds to activate it. Like G35Now said, those must be some tight pants. ;P

I've never done that. I think you will get used to the button layout..

Similar problems but rare

I've had the alarm go off with accidental pressure on the panic button at home. My garage is right next to the family room, so when I've laid on my stomach on the floor or the couch, something in my front pocket (likely the house keys on the ring with the key fob) has pressed it. It's only happened twice in 7 months of ownership, so I'm not too concerned.
