Question Auto Headlight Problem?

Are the automatic headlights supposed to turn on when it rains?
Because mine don't.

You can adjust the sensitivity in terms of ambient light conditions. Try that.

I noticed this today... even with the sensitivity at MAX, it still was too bright outside for the lights to trigger.

This needs to be automatic when the windshield wipers turn on.

Why? I don't want mine coming on just because it's raining.

Some states (like CA, NJ, NY) have laws that require headlights to be on when the wipers are in regular use. (assuming you weren't being sarcastic)

Auto on lights are light sensitive, not rain sensitive. If it's raining and still bright enough, the auto feature will not activate the headlights.

This actaully brought up another thing about the lights - the aut-leveling feature. I have the active headlights that turn from side to side and supposedly auto-level themselves. I recently had the headlights changed and noticed the drivers side light seems to be pointed higher. Am i imaging things? I know there are adjustments on the backside of the headlight housings but they didn't seems to effect the height adjustment of my headlights. Thoughts anyone?

Interesting, didn't know that. Apparently Texas doesn't care

Seriously though, I turn my lights on if it's raining really hard, but wouldn't like it if they came on automatically (although on the other hand, since I leave them in auto all the time, maybe I wouldn't care).
