Silly Question about the front license plate.

I noticed that there are no holes in the front bumper for a front license plate, so is it just a plate holder with an adhesive?

If so, has anyone tried mounting theirs on the front corner rather than right in the middle of the bumper?

^ you're lucky. My dealer decided to drill it anyway even after I asked them not to. They gave me some BS about new DMV regulation to which they have to abide.

I went out and covered them with plugs.

I've been driving in Texas for 18 years with no front plate now. I've never gotten a ticket for no front plate. I have had a warning however. I have heard of a couple people getting caught for no front plate, but obviously it's not a big deal to most officers. Not sure about the plate in the windshield though, I've seen it done, but not sure if it's legal here.
