I just purchased a 07 G35 Sport with Prem/Nav/Tech pkg and was told I can't have Sirius with the Nav pkg, the only option is XM because of the traffic feature... does anyone know if its possible for the dealer to swap the XM receiver for a Serius receiver, I know I would lose the trafic feature but really like the programming on Sirius, really don't want to add an aftermarket receiver....

 

Nope, can't be done. The 08's will all have XM.

 

Yeah, i prefer the programming on sirius but i went with xm cuz of the traffic.
I've learned to live with xm. Aren't the two companies merging anyway?

 

Both companies are tryng to merge if they can obtain FCC approval and should know for sure by the end of the year...
