Any sound dampening on the roof panel?

Anyone notice when going through the air dryer at car washes just how loud the roof trembles? I wonder if some insulation or dynamat would help reduce noise from above. Almost like they forgot to put sound deadening material there.

Not like removing the roof liner is something that's relatively easy to do

Do you spend a lot of time under car wash air dryers?

I fixed a rattle I had up there, there's a plastic clip attached under the roof that rattled like crazy on the road. While holding the headliner with my hand, the rattling stopped. I stuffed insulation up there to hold the clip tight to the roof, rattle gone.

I think that's the roof too, no dampening material = loud when it rains.

There's nothing on the roof... as in at all. It's the headliner then bare metal.

The whole thing is relatively easy to take off... hardest part is taking it out of the car. I would imagine that it wouldn't be that hard to put some sound deadening stuff up there if you really wanted to.
