I am getting a offer from the dealer, it's like invoice -$500 but when factor in the processing fee they charge I think I will end up with invoice -$100.

Been on the board for a while and was waiting for the 09's but ended up getting a great deal. Pulled the trigger last week and got a 2008 G35xS (sport, nav, prem, net, splash guards) Platinum Graphite/Graphite.
Paid 37,800 OTD in Chicago.

Yeh I got the 3K off...but also opted for the financing at 0.9%. The salesman agreed to our price and then realized he goofed up a bit because he calculated the financing WITH the 3K off (you only get the 3K off or the financing). The deal looked good so we decided to take the car. Then in the finance office they realized they messed up so they fudged with the numbers a bit and gave it to us for that much. So technically after the 60 months I will have paid about 38700 for it, even though it will be paid off well before that.

2008 6MT
Premium
Nav
Carpet floormats
Trunk Mat
All weather floormats
Trunk Cargo Net
Wheel Locks
Splash Guards

34,000 OTD
Including 8.25% sales tax and 55+320 in TTL,etc and the 4K in rebates.
I'm not sure if I could have done any better especially since there were only a handful of 6MTs left within a 300 mile radius.
I do feel a little guilty for paying for the extended warranty. The deal was not contingent upon the warranty though.

I'm getting quotes for $33,500 for a Journey + Sport + Premium

(@0.9% + TTL + D)

It's about 1K under invoice, which is alright, considerring dealer has a $1K incentive.

Wonderring if I should keep negotiating or just go for the deal

Sounds like a pretty good deal at this point.

You could wait to work a deal on an 09 but according to Infiniti's website the financing is going to be 3.9 for 36 months which is probably 5.9 for 60.

Add in the lack of similar below invoice deals and you'll be left with higher MSRP, higher negotiated price, and 5% higher interest.

I'd jump on it.

I bought mine in October so there was only the 0.9% or $3k incentive. I paid ~$545 below Invoice with the 0.9% incentive.

Since November offers up the $1k incentive plus either the 0.9% financing or an additional $3k, you may be able to get some more off (~$500). With that said, I wouldn't have any issues taking your current deal and probably would take it and not swear an additional $100 - $500 discount. If you haven't already, perhaps have them throw in the all-season mats. I didn't, and bought these after the fact and definitely recommend getting them.

Great advice, guys

I was thinking of asking them to throw in the Rosewood Trim. They charge about $500 for that, and I estimate about 50% overpricing there, so they wouldn't lose much, and I'd gain a lot.

I was just offered $32940 on a 2008 G35x with premium nav and sport w splash guards, cargo net and floor mats!!! Crazy. Even the color I want. Probably gonna pull the trigger, only some financing hurdles for me yet. Wow....what a deal though.

With 0.9% financing???

Remember, if it doesn't include 0.9% financincing, it's probably just the invoice minues $3K or something like that

does not include the .9. I still think that's more than 4k under invoice. I could be mistaken, but that's lower that the best deal I've seen on here (33500??). No?

$33,500 includes 0.9% financing... apples to apples, I suppose

I'd take $30,500 (with the 3K incentive), rather than the 0.9% if the payments were lower.

The payments do become lower depending on what your down-payment is and how many months you finance. That's really what you need to base your decision on

In my case $33,500 is $1K under invoice, but I'm getting 0.9%. I still won't pull the trigger until this weekend. Want to see what the November incentives will be, especially now that dealer tried to rush me yesterday... just sparked my curiosity, I guess
