I thought that I would share comments and questions with you for discussion. I've had my G since the beginning of April now, a black on black X with Premium.
I noticed that below the grill in the open space, it looks like there is some kind of radar/laser down there. I don't have nav or intelligent cruise, so what could this be? Is it standardized for all cars even though I dont have the package?
My other question, how come when I put on certain temperature settings I can't have re-circulation of the air? For example, if I put on the defroster, a/c is mandatory and I must get the fresh/outside air. I sometimes get stuck behind large trucks in my area and don't like to breathe in that exhaust!
I've had 2 problems so far, hopefully to be fixed soon. Anyone else experience:
1. Drivers side window stopped working. Last week it started rolling up slow, and yesterday just stopped. I had to spend 10 mins pushing the button to get it to go up all the way. Bummer.
2. Mine came with a cracked driver's side wiper, and I replaced it a week after I bought it. Only a few months later this wiper is terrible, it sort of scrapes across the windshield instead of gliding over it smoothly.
Other than these gripes, great car. Gas mileage has gone up about 1mpg, as I'm getting almost 19 with about 60% highway driving.

Post a pic of that area where you think you have something like the ICC sensor -- the real ICC sensor is quite obvious and not subtle -- you won't mistake it for anything else.
Re: recirc w/ defogger - almost all cars that I've owned (with auto climate) disallows this.
Reason is simple - when you recirc you increase your chance of fogging up the glass - so the defogging takes preference. Also A/C comes on to decrease the humidity reducing the fogging.
If you want to recirc, cut the defogging and use a normal mode.
Re: your other probs take it to the dealer for warranty work - the car is new - so use that warranty !!

Defrost would be completely ineffective if you are blowing moist recirculated air, the AC also acts to remove moisture from the air.

^^^ +1
First step is to remove moisture from the air, so you need the A/C on to defog/frost the window. A/C doesn't always mean cold, but just dry. Like some people in winter who's whole car is all fogged up front to back, how can they drive like that? Just flick on the A/C.
