New potential problem with the voice-activation system?

I could have sworn that up until recently I was able to do the following:

1. Press the voice activation button on the steering wheel
2. At the prompt, say "Phone dial (123) 555 -555"....
3. While the system (lady) was acknowledging the number, say "Dial"

That would cut her off and the system would proceed to dialing.

Now, when I say "Dial" while she is reading back the number, it doesn't acknowledge it but rather ignores me. In the first few times it happened I thought there was something wrong with my voice, so I was ending up shouting at the damn thing "DIAL! DIAL! DIAL" - But to no avail...

So now, I simply press the Enter button on the steering wheel while she's reading back the number and that cuts her off.

Can someone confirm I'm not imagining things and you can actually speak the word "dial" to cut her off and proceed with the dialing process?

I have only used that feature a couple of times since my phone and the car don't get along very well but I have always had to wait for it to finish when I did get it to work.

I've always had to manually hit the ENTER button on the steering wheel to initiate the dial (thinking this was the norm).

There are two ways to do at far as I am aware.

1. Either you wait for the beep to say dial.
2. Press the enter button on the steering wheel at anytime.

That's weird. I could have sworn I would cut her mid-way by simply saying dial....

You probably tried to ask "make me a sandwich" one too many times.

You have to push enter to cut her off or wait until she is finished reading the number back to you.

I don't if it's been mentioned but I think you either need to let the lady finish confirming the number or just press the button
