Welp it only took about 6 weeks...

My passenger side rear wheel got scratched while parking this morning in my parking garage at work, hit the cement curb. It made the most lovely sound that is haunting me several hours still.

don't feel bad, i scratched the same wheel the third day i got the car because i parallel parked perfectly the first time and some lady came home and needed some more space so i backed into the curb...it's a crappy feeling for about 48 hrs but then you start to realize that YOU are the only person that knows it is there....so just remember that and you'll be okay buddy

I know the feeling, I did the same thing recently. I heard the terrible noise and I couldn't help but think how stupid I was all day long.

I did it after about three weeks - got it fixed, couldn't live with the repair, so finally found a set of four Sport wheels and tires for $1,100 (eBay). New wheel, new tires, other three sold - ended up with a free wheel and four tires for $700

Yeah its pretty hard to notice but I have no interest in getting it replaced. I'm the only one who knows its there.

In my 1.5 months I've been rear ended, had it covered in yellow road-work paint and finally dead in a parking lot in Trenton, NJ (intelligent key failure). So I can feel your pain with having bad things happen to my new G.

Rear passenger side wheel - missing a chunck of rim as well as a little tire. Hit a curb BAD!

I didn't even know I got one until I took my car out for a wash. I wash my car every other week and when I was trying to clean the break dust off the wheel, I found a big chunk was scraped.

It really broke my heart.

I drove into a parking lot at Best Buy and didn't see a curb that extended out unusually far. F***ed up my right rear wheel. To make it worse (if possible) the thing I went to Best Buy for was NOT IN STOCK. Arrrggggh

That's not bad...6 weeks. It took me only 3 hours before I curbed my first rim after getting the car. LOL
