Display Day/Night Settings

Hi Everyone-

I apologize if this has already been covered, but I did a search and didn't find anything. I would like my headlights to come on automatically at night and I would like the display to be automatic as well. How do I set this? At the moment it seems that it's bright during the day (which I like), the Nav has the night sky and stars feature, however, during the day if I drive under an overpass or a dark area the display and the meters/gages go dark. I don't get it.

Thanks to everyone in advance!!

When the screen / gages go dark it's because the lights just came on. And unfortunately, there's no way to program a delay, you can only program sensitivity.

It stopped bothering me long ago

Its called a dimmer...everything dims when the headlights turn on just like most cars.

Thanks for your quick response! I'm getting use to it. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't an error or a fix. Much appreciated!

Hit the "day/night" button to bring the display back to bright (even with lights on)
