what is a good price?
a friend of mine is looking to buy a 07 G35 Journey with premium pkg, navi, tech pkg.
edmunds says that the avg persons buys it for $36,700 (MSPR: $38,355 and invoice: $34,987). now if you add tint ~$395. you get a total of $37,100 avg price paid.
what is a good deal you can get it for? i was thinking $35,800 + TTL would be a good deal for him to negotiate. what do yall think?
thanks.

got mine for about $300 over invoice. you should definitely try for a lower price than that. and as others have said, you'd be insane to pay that much for tints. most GOOD places in my area will charge you about $120.
I'm from houston as well. Still trying decide if paying invoice for a 07 is a good deal? I mean the 08 are out, shouldn't we get invoice for the 08's and below invoice for the 07's? I want to go base for price reasons but in my experience you get better deals on cars with some options over a car with no options. Unless they are desperate to get the car off their lot.

At times dealers make more money on outoging models (07 in this case). Invoice on 2007 is a bad deal especially when you can get 08 for 500 over inoice. You might have to wait a few months... but that will make more sense.
