The mechanical key should be able to open the doors in case the fob/battery doesn't work.

 

There is still a keyhole. The fob isnt the only way to unlock the car.

 

Fortunately, my drives door was unlocked, so I could get in the car.

Dealer claims it's all in the fob's. When my car was jump started, it reset the CPU which temporarily allowed the fobs to work, but only for a while.

I have the car back....we will see....
