Treo 650 and Call Waiting
Wondering if anyone else has this problem - I have a Treo 650 that works well with my 2007 G35x (with navi/tech) - can make and receive calls. Only problem is if I am on a call and another call comes in (call waiting) the car disconnects BOTH calls! Very frustrating. The Treo by itself (not paired with the phone) works well with call waiting - no problems.
Anyone??!!??

i have a treo750 cingular .. and when i hang up i get a random unknown call.
u can only pick up that unknown call, it doesnt let me hang up until i dial another number and that call.

Yeah, the forums on the Palm site are quite lengthy about the BT problem.
It doesn't work well in most cars.

I started a thread about a month or two ago because I was having the exact same problem. I talked to Infiniti (both the dealer and corporate), Verizon, and Palm. Everyone basically said it's a problem with the phone's software. AFAIK there's no software update being released in the immediate future either by Palm or Infiniti which will correct the problem.
The only way to fix it is to get a new phone or have the phone company deactivate your call waiting. If you buy a new phone make sure it's on the approved phone list on Infiniti's website. I got a Blackberry 8830 and it's worked flawlessly. Plus, it's MUCH smaller than my Palm was and actually a little more versatile.
