Thoughts after one week with my '07 Sport

I've had the '07 for a week today, and my thoughts on this car are it's great! I knew it was different than my '05, from driving a loaner for a week, but man, I am really impressed with this version of the G35, I thought I liked my '05 when it was new, but, man, this car is way ahead of the '05, I'm sure it being a Sport has something to do with it, but all the hi-tech stuff. I never thought I'd be interested in the Nav, but I love it! I have no regrets trading my '05, even though I hesitated a couple of months after driving the loaner for a week! I'm still waiting for the spoiler, should get it installed next week! The new G's are a real step up from the original!

yeah it does give it a sportier look...sucks you can only get a spoiler if you have prem. package.i wouldn't gotten one, but a spoiler isn't worth 2500 dollars

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new G Tom! I too thought it was a step up from the 1st gen as I was amazing after trading in my 03. It's amazing car for the price!

Hey Tom
I didnt even know you traded up. I would much rather have the 07 sedan over the 07 coupe. At first I was on the fence on the 07s but after seeing them in person and a few modded ones, they are definately a very sexy car.

Glad to hear your driving review is also equal to how the car looks, great.

Congrats!

Yeah, used to be you could only get it with the sport package. LOL, the premium is worth the money IMO!

Shane, yeah, it's amazing the difference, the Sport package is well worth the money, this is the best equipped G I've had, I didn't think so before, but makes my '05 seem old! I love the graphite interior over the stone in my '05. And the interior is so much nicer, much more premium car feeling!

Yeah, I couldn't resist. I'm surprised I could hold off this long after driving that '07 loaner for a week in July, glad I waited until the '08's started arriving, got a better deal!

Here's an added bonus. My BS 6MT sedan gets noticed more, now that it's fully tinted. Must be the added contrast against the satin wheels. Niiiiiice.

'Tis a sad day when we have to identify Jim Morrison.

Third best concert I ever saw: 1971, Spectrum, Philadelphia. First row balcony, about 20 feet behind Manzarek.

Grav, 90% of people on the board have no idea what you are talking about, but I do. Old farts FTW!

Tom glad you are enjoying the 07, I sat in one in the showroom a few weeks ago, very nice and I'll bet it's a great drive. Holding out for the G35x Sport sedan, though!! Gotta have the spoiler, I wouldn't have bought my 03 without it.

Just my way of finding my peers.

Maybe we need a thread just for our 10%.
