It was answered right after you asked it.

I am getting the Downhill surge TSB done in a few weeks. I dont have ICC.

I wanted to know how important is this to get redone?

I dont use CC that often. But the one time that i did use it the surging freaked me out.

Not important if you don't use CC, but keep in mind that the update should also fix the quirky throttle response. For those who don't have the surging CC problem, I think you should still get the ECU update!

I'm pretty sure it's for all models.

Does this also apply to MT cars? I scanned throught the service bulletin and noticed a chart that list different models except for 6MT.

I'm pretty sure it's for manuals too.

I was curious if anyone else has had this done who has a manual. My car has been at the dealer since Monday morning, and they don't expect it to be done until after the weekend. They had trouble getting the sensor to replace it, and now they have ordered some other part they say is coming from Mississippi. They told me they are having some problems with the computer and are thinking it is because it is a manual. Hopefully they get it sorted out.

So I guess there's hope. This sounds like my dealer's first one.

ICC is the Intelligent Cruise Control that is included with the Tech package.

Here is TSB:

I'm scheduled for an appointment on the 19th. looks good, I'm glad they moved this over to the ICC unit. They probably needed additional testing.

I am going tomorrow for the I-Key recall. I was wanting to ask them a few things. I do not have the tech package with ICC. But i want the smoothness, does it apply to a g35s 5at with premium package only?

i am bringing up issues with my front grille and some extra unappreciated subwoofer noise(slight dull papery rattle sound)
