Looking for info on SKYLINE baging.
Does anyone now if you can get the skyline baging for the G. I live in Canada, where would I get that. Whats involved in debaging, are there holes in the sheet metal where the bages are? WHat do you think the cost for a nissan emble, skyline letters for the rear, and a new grill insert with a nisan logo instead of infiniti, I think that would be a nice touch for the car.

E-mail Japanparts.com They will get you a quote for the real parts from Nissan Japan. There are no holes on the rear trunk like on the 03-06's. A heat gun and a little persuasion from a thin flat screw driver works well. The emblems will actually seperate from the sticky foam backing and then you can roll the foam off the paint with your finger. Very easy procedure.

alot of dealers here (in the states) actually have it too...
skyline badging, 350gt emblems, all pretty cool..
i know kids will come up and say, wow, what a lame person, that's not a skyline, i've seen fast and furious, and that's no skyline, lol

Hey, the cars come from the same production plant in Japan, the Japanesse version may be tuned different, but the cars are the same. And for all you boys driving g35 sports you don't really have a true skyline, Only the boys with that have an (X) have the exact same all wheel drive system from the skyline, new and old. I won't label the car GTR, maybe 350GT where the G35 is, and SKYLINE where the INFINITI is on the truck. Or Just Skyline. 95% of the people that have seen my car, and are into cars, don't know that Infiniti is made by Nissan, And everyone I know, does not know that this car is the new skyline from overseas. I see what you are saying. Cause if most people don't know that this is the SKYLINE overseas, they will think it is tacky. I still think it would be unique having the Japenese style, some people might you had the car shipped from Japan.

it clearly shows RWD/AWD are still skylines. they even have a 2.5liter version in japan...so if it's a 2.5liter RWD skyline it's not a true skyline? i don't understand your logic

Sorry, I shouldn't have said true skyline, I was responding to somone who thoughts the G35 and Skyline oversears are different. WHen I said true skyline, I was referring to the the all wheel drive system. The X has the same all wheel drive system that the first gen Skyline had in the 1990's. One of the attributes that made the skyline such a renowned car. Hence, why I think Skyline baging is a unique, and tastful touch to a G.

oh okay, yeah the awd system did make the skyline such a well-balanced performance car and sometimes this makes me regret getting a rwd car.
yeah i definitely think the skyline badging is cool too...sometimes i wonder why they just don't call it a infiniti skyline...i guess it's because all luxury cars in the united states needs letters and numbers to make it truly luxury rather than a name.
