Yes...the metal key in the fob is a valet key of sorts. here is how it works....
you put what you don't want the valet dude to see/steal in your glove box or trunk. flip the switch in your glove box that disables the trunk. then use the metal key to lock the glove box. you keep the metal key & give him the remote. he can lock/unlock the car & drive it, but he can not open the glove box or trunk.
