Is anyone using an HTC Mogul in their G35?

I've heard some of the recent Mogul updates have affected bluetooth capabilities, and it's still just listed on the 'testing' portion of Infiniti's website.

 

I have a the Alltel version of that phone. I'm running WM6 and bluetooth is a real mess. The phone is slow to dial via car voice commands and freezes up interfacing with the car all the time. Also, it disconnects randomly and is slow to respond to answering a call. I like the phone but hate that it doesn't pair well with my G. If I were you I would get a different phone if possible.

 

Thanks for the input... the major reason behind my upgrade is to get a phone w/ bluetooth capabilities to work with the G35.

Sounds like that's just one more reason I've heard to avoid the Mogul.

shame too because it looks like a very cool phone.

 

its a great phone, just doesn't work well with the G. I have it, and in order to use BT, you have to dial, click use handset, then click phone

 

I have the opposite experience. I think the Mogul itself sucks. Probably the worst smart phone I have ever owned, but the bluetooth works fine in my 08 g35.

If I had a choice in phones I would pick up the new Moto Qh.

 

motorola Q is a SMARTphone, so is the blackjack, and a few siemens phones. The mogul is a pocket pc. I love my mogul, and i had a 700wx and a ppc6700 before it, so i like ppc's. I used my friend's moto Q and hated it, it's fine if all you do is call people and need to get email, but a PPC is way better to hack, use programs, surf the net, etc....
