Hi All-

What do you think is fair to pay for a used 2007 G35x?

I'm shopping for a 2007+ G35x with only a sunroof for options.
I'm finding NEW 2008 G35x's with only a sunroof option for $33k with 2.9% financing.

How much of a savings is reasonable to expect on a used car compared to a new one?

I'd guess

10% under invoice. After all, it sounds like folks have been getting close to invoice on '07 G's now, plus the car is used so it takes a 10% haircut.

Are you saying 10% under invoice is a possible deal for '07's or used G's? I just paid 1k under invoice for my '07 last weekend, thought that was a great deal.

I meant

at least 10% under the invoice price of the car when it was new.

The 1k under invoice for the new car doesn't mean much if there was a trade-in. If it was straight cash, then it was a good deal.

For a used '07, the OP should at least be able to do 10% better than basically the best price you could pay for the car if it were new.
