No, not personal opinion, as you said the sedan is lighter, faster, about the same price (for a lease maybe, dunno about that), and you forgot to mention:

seats 4 a whole lot more easily than the coupe
lower insurance
smaller engine, slightly better gas mileage
bigger trunk
I think it costs less, if you're talking sticker price

The only negative is people won't "notice" you as much. If that's what you're into, then get the coupe. The only people I'm worried about noticing me are cops, one major factor for my purchase.

no, it's not "true" most tests report equal speeds, +/- a few tenths of a second depending on the source. 0-60 times are both 5.2 or 5.3 seconds.

not sure where you're seeing only a $10 difference between the lease of a coupe or sedan though. unless you're talking about a base coupe with no options versus a reasonably loaded sedan. the current infiniti winter event has the base coupe (+ prem pkg) at $479/mo w/ $3,978 initial, and the base sedan (+ prem pkg) at $419/mo w/ $4,219 initial. both at a 39 month term. so you can see right there a $60/mo difference, the coupe will run you a lot more.

i love my sedan, it's a killer car. the sedan is obviously more practical given it has four doors, but the coupe is a slightly better driver's car imho. sportier, harder exhaust, etc.

good luck with your decision.

Incorrect, they're pretty much the same in a straight line. 24HP isn't enough to overcome the weight difference.

I don't know where he got the $10 difference. Maybe a base G37 compared to a well loaded Sedan. I haven't seen a G37 with a sticker under 40k. The sticker on my '07 Sport was almost $39k....................

I guarantee you will see low-mid 13's with the G37S. It is definitely quicker than the Sedan.

How can you make that guarantee, do you have any proof? C/D says 13.9. Maybe they tested a slow one... or maybe the G37's 24 HP advantage with a 135 pound disadvantage really is good for .5 second or more in the 1/4-mile, but C/D editors don't know how to drive?

No, they don't. There are several people who have run 13.7's already w/ the G37S. One was an automatic.

Amen to that. Plus have you looked around? There's plenty of cosmetic mods that you can do that will make your sedan unique. It's all about imagination!
