What Was Infiniti thinking by dropping IP/Graphite combo?

I have been seriously considering down the road to replace my 04 G35 Coupe with an 08 G35 Sedan. In 07 the Ivory Pearl and Graphite interior could only be had with the Sport. Now, Infiniti had decided to drop the IP/Graphite combo for all G35 sedans but it's still available on the G37s with IP as well as the M and FX. IP is the only color that doesn't have the Graphite interior option for the G35 sedan. Of course, now I'm holding off as this was my only color choice combo. What's with the rational for Infiniti's decision making? I can only hope they will come to their senses down the road as this is quite a popular combo.

I would've preferred graphite leather, but stone is pretty nice too. I don't regret my choice.

I wanted graphite, but due to availability I had to go with stone which was my distant second choice. And I am so glad I did. I swapped out floormats to the dark ones, and now I have truly grown to love the two tone look of the stone interior with dark dash, door, and floormat accents. I've had black leather for 10 years, and maybe just the difference is what I'm loving, but I am so glad that I have the stone now.

Just my .02 for giving it a try...

I'm just confused as to the "reasoning" behind excluding graphite from only one color...IP while offering it for all other colors as well as the IP G37.

I have it, I guess it feels good knowing that it's not available anymore.

yeah, I feel you man. I wanted the exact color combo, but I guess I will have to learn to love the stone interior. a black interior would have been so much nicer and classy. imo, the black interior makes he car look more aggressive.
