LOL, well, that's one less worry here, mine never expires, and it's free!

I've got a shade over 15,200 KMs (about 9400 miles) on it and it has worked flawlessly so far. I've incurred zero rattles, am still amazed by the SOW, and have a big smile on my face every single time I get behind the wheel. The only issue that I have had with it is the grille pitting, however my dealer replaced it under warranty.

I love this car!

I am always like this with a new car, it'll wear off! How far is Maine from you?
I am about a 45 minute drive from the Maine border. You should see my G now. I ended up running into some snow traveling through Maine this morning. My G is now completely covered in salt and instead of it being Garnet Ember, it's more like Ivory Pearl now. I've never seen my G this filthy.

Geez, that sux, now you have to pray for a nice day to wash and detail it! IP or a glazed donut? That's what salt and winter road residue look like to me! Both not good for you! Bring it here, supposed to be nice tormorrow!

Yech You have lots of cleaning to do and the most important is the messy part, cleaning underneath to rid all the salt.
Usually I spend most of my time hosing it down underneath and just give the outside a quick rinse in the evening when the DIY is not too busy.
I'm sure you will have your sweetie shining in no time.

Glad you made it home already, I misunderstood your post the other day and thought you were going for a couple of days. Good you are home before the storms hit your area.

K and I were heading shopping in Kitchener/Waterloo tomorrow (and it is almost 2 hours away), but they still have a storm watch out till Tuesday in my area.

I'm sure it looks worse in person! Is this the first time it's been that dirty? I bet you were cringing on the drive home! Teach you to cross the border!

I got mine on Nov 8, 2006. I still have less than 13k miles (short commutes), getting my third oil change soon to take care of a few TSBs, including the i-key replacements. People sometimes think my car is new -- the many coats of Zaino sure help.

My car was the from the first shipment. Probably one of the first 6MT in the Bay Area, too. I see more and more Gs on the road now. I had a fun year of feeling unique on the road. Heck, I still feel that way, as long as people keep buying their BMWs. LOL
