traction control off?

i have a G35S with dunlop sport 3D winter tires, today we have a big snow in toronto, and i was stuck in the snow, well i turned off my VDC, but the while i was giving gas the my slip light still comes on and off.. i thought when i press the button for VDC the traction should be off completely, but i guess there is a second stage traction, how can i turn it off completely?
on my dash the VDC off light is on but my slip ligh still flash while i was stuck in the snow giving gas...

Pretty sure that the slip light and VDC are not connected in that way; VDC was off, but the slip light was telling you that you were losing traction.

I've turned off VDC, and can assure you that traction control was off while the slip light was flashing

all it is doing is saying your tires are spinning past the traction point

But I think the tires will still only spin for several seconds, before ABS kicks in and puts on the binders. At least that has been my experience in the dry, not sure if it works the same in rain/snow.
