ITB 07-045 2007 G35 Sedan; Cold Engine Start Issues

I am sure glad to see this one. I have this issue and dealer could not address when I took my G in last month.

=================================

http://2007.infiniti.g35x.googlepages.com/ITB07-045.pdf

Drivability issues as follows:

• Rough idle during the first minute of engine operation after cold engine start.

And/or

• Slight engine speed fluctuation during light throttle acceleration during the first ten minutes of driving
after cold soak.

NOTE: This issue, if it should occur, is related to engine temperature. It is NOT related to ambient
(environment) temperature.

Dude, thank you so much for this info. I have been having this problem for over 2 months, and the dealer can not find the problem... (they say that l have to remove my stillen intake, and exhaust) before the will recheck the car. This really helps. Thanks.

Same issue here. I got sick of the cold start herky jerky moves, how embarassing. I could litterally see the RPMs dip and flick back and forth. Did all of the above: switch to DS, down shifted manual mode and finally took it in. I got a loaner journey and felt a big difference right away. It seemed that my Sport 5AT was running lean and the Journey responded as you punched it. I also noticed that prior to the ITB update that my car was shifting prematurely. Drove it home today and so far so good.

I had my car serviced with the above bulletin. I printed all the pages and showed it to the dealer, and they followed the instructions, and presto, all problems was fixed. Also it does state that u should have 5W30 motor oil for this car.

Sorry to bring back up an old thread but my car is doing something similar. Upon cold starting it will rev to 2k for a moment but then drops down pretty rapidly to about 1200 and sputters a little bit before it catches itself about to die and revs back up to 2k and warms up normally. Thoughts?
