Q on low tire light?

So I havent drove my car in 2 weeks, I go out this morning and low tire light is on? I look around the car and all tires look fine. Ive flicked thru the in-cluster settings and find nothing in there that will tell me what tire is the culprit. Am I missing something in there, or is this just not an option?

BTW, I have no owners manual.

Dale, there is no provision in the TPMS system on our cars to tell anything but that there is a low pressure condition somewhere. Call it lame, but it's all we've got. Sometimes I get a low pressure light right after the weather turns cold. Cold temps lower the tire pressure, so if one is marginal already, it will trip the light. Currently mine is acting up with all pressures in range, most likely a battery issue on one of the sensors.

You can download an owners manual for free by registering at at infinitihelp.com .

If the light stays on solid immediately following start up, then it's low pressure.
If the light flashes for approximately 1 minute - then stays on solid, it could be a faulty sensor.
had one of mine "go to sleep", dealership "woke it up" for me no charge & no they don't have dismount your tire. Hope this helps

I think it is cooler then the last time I drove it. But drove it at lunch(warmer then this am) and its still on.

Very lame on on telling which ones which. I have a base model 07 impala I can drive whenever and shows each tire.

mojo, thanks. Will inflate when I get a chance and if its still acting up, I will take in.

When I put my manual on my ipad I'm pretty sure I just did a search with the year and model and 'pdf' and it came up. Obviously this will work on any computer as well. For ipad/iphone people then you can just choose to open in ibooks and its saved. Really handy compared to running down to the car when wanting to check something.

Id rather have it on paper. Call me old school if you want?

This i-crapola I have now, Id rather shoot with my gun, drive over it with my 1ton fully loaded, burn it. Then if anything is left, go toss it in the ocean.

All my tires were at 32. Solid tire pressure warning light when I turned on the car. I thought it was out of whack, so I drove it on the freeway to see if it would go away, it did not.

Went to a gas station and filled em up for 34 each. Drove around for a couple miles and the TPMS light went away. I guess the TPMS sensors dont like anything 32 or lower? IDK...

So Cal weather (75ish degrees and round 65 in the morning)

Yeah newer technology tends to leave certain people behind.

vg.... I started to, but felt the words I was typing was not appropriate for this forum.

bigham, I wondered what psi they were triggered at. Being these tires are to have 44, I cant see where they are down to 32, but w/e. 75ish day, 45 night here.

dark, I love properly designed technology. The smart phone I had before this one was freakin awesome!! To bad I crushed it on accident. I dont see what everyone thinks is so great about iproducts. It is the worst item I have ever owned in my life, and thats saying a lot!!. I'm thinking about trying crackberry once I can upgrade.

Are you confusing MAX pressure with recommended pressure there?

I'm pretty sure the recommended pressure is around 33 psi. I typically run a little over (35-36), but I can't imagine running as high as 44psi.

I feel as though sales and stock prices sufficiently prove the point of what works best. Obviously if something doesn't do what you want you the way you want you shouldn't be expected to buy it or continue to use it. I still recommend you try downloading the manual in the way I said or on to your computer and then printing it if you don't mind printing hundreds of pages. Last alternative is going to the dealer and ordering one. (which may actually be cheaper that printing it yourself, easier too not sure on the price tho)

Anyways I am interested in the eventual solution to your problem, that's why I checked in here (not to make apple money since I don't have any stock) so keep us posted.

Also 44psi does seem way too high (as stated by VQ), could it be over inflated now causing the light to stay on?

I never checked the psi when I got the car. But GTP, Camaro, Impala, all say 44psi. I usually run(ran) them at 42front, 38-40 rear and got even wear on them.

Will go out in a bit since I'm not busy tonight. Hopefully its not a sensor :/

Printing a manual out, wow. yea, would possibly be cheaper to buy one. But Ive tried posting in the forsale section to buy one, wont let me post. I thought it was be a user for 45 days??
