windshield micro-chips

I seem to be getting a lot of micro chips on my windshield. The kind that are pin sized and that just bugs the hell out of me because the car doesn't look perfect anymore. Seems to pick up 2 or 3 per day. Anybody else with the same problem?

My 03 has tons of them. I wish there was a way to coat the windshield and have all the chips filled. My only hope is to have a rock crack the glass and get a replacement windshield (free under insurance).

Yeah, mine has the same problem. I have heard that you can repair the windshield for some cracks... is there something like that to deal with these "mico-chips"?

There is a cover like clear bra that can be applied to a windshield. I cannot remember the name of product though. It probably would not address your current problem though without first replacing the windshield.

Yeah, that's what the auto glass people just told me as well. They said it might still help to make any current micro-chips "less apparent".

I also found this other thread that discusses this same topic: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=chips. And it looks like a few people used Zaino Clear-View Glass Polish. So I may give that a shot first.
