I know, I know; the manual and gas cap says to use only Premium unleaded for the 07 G35...

Funny thing is, my friend has been putting regular unleaded since he got his car in July and trust me, there is no noticeable performance loss, knocking, pinging etc...

So, am I a chump for using the premium unleaded stuff?

What do you all think?

Personally, I prefer Diesel. It costs a little more, but I get about 20% better gas mileage. Just make sure it's ultra low sulfur diesel. I find I get better torque down low on the diesel.
