The thing is, most of us if not all jumped into this "group buy" to save a few dollars, but since now that the seller wants that "few dollars" that we are trying to save, I'm sure that "most of us" mentioned above are going to cancel the order. I guess they're not gonna make ANY money afterall.

Yeah, I think I'm out too. Not so much for the additional $15 but because the retailer isn't willing to honor their originally posted and accepted price.

So anyone want to try and set up a GB with one of the G35 vendors?

Looks like the group buy wasn't much of a bargain from the git-go.

I've heard from several sources over the years that K&Ns don't flow much better than paper once they've been cleaned one time. Don't know if that's true, but wonder if they're worth the cost. Look great though.

it's their fault for not posting the right prices. thats a very bad business practice to charge someone, then ask for more money because it was their own fault for the price mistake. note to self: don't buy from them

I ordered it too once I saw the group buy.
I called and told Alex to cancel it and he has the ***** to ask me why.
According to him now is even a better deal because MSRP is higher.
Someone plz explain this to me. How am I getting a better deal here ?
Promised price = $70.00 (not delivered)
For previous price to be honor I need to pay ANOTHER $15.00

Anyone ??????

Don't bother with them. They were quick to grab their phone and ask us for more money and now they're lagging as $hit to refund them back. WTF?

Mass Air Flow sensor. It sits in between your intake and the throttle body and determines how much air is going into the car as well as other info. If it breaks your car will run like total crap.

I don't know off the top of my hand how much they are, but they're expensive. Probably a couple to a few hundred dollars a piece at the dealer. Since the VQ35HR has twin intakes, there should be two MAFs. I have popped my hood three times to change the oil on my car so I don't know exactly where they are, but look for something just after the air intake boxes that has an electrical plug plugged into it (before the throttle body). That is the MAF sensor.

I've run K&N filters in several Nissan products include my 04 G35 and never had any problems. I think the larger concern is when you clean them and re-oil them since people tend to put generous amounts of filter oil back on them. From the factory they have a evenly distributed, light coating of oil. It's hard to get that evenly distributed light coating on when you're doing it yourself after washing the filters so people tend to put WAY more on.

UPS just dropped mine off and I just put them in. Observations so far, a little loose in the frame that holds them so its a little hard to install them but they seem to seal well. Will let you know more after I drive the car some. I`m saving my old filters(not really dirty) to use when I clean the k&n's and to put in just in case I ever do have a problem with the MAS and have to take the car into the dealer.

I went ahead and got them also; I didn't want to deal with trying to get my money back from paypal.
The filters were finally delivered yesterday. I don't think I'm going to order anything more from that guy. On top of all the problems, they didn't even include an invoice in the box.
Oh well, filters are installed and working. It's been raining, so I haven't been able to open her up yet.
