I am such a dumbass. I never did it, and now I dont know. I may need to put some stuff in the trunk tomorrow, and may need to fold them down if they fold.
I know I should know this...but I don't
Thanks!
J

No they do not.
You have a small pass thru in the center, that's it.

Nope, no pass thru... only coupes have them. Well, at least we have trunk access through the arm rest in the middle... LOL

I know it sucks. They could have made the car much more useful by making it a complete pass thru. Oh well.

The 1st Gen Sedan didn't have it either so I guess we were used to it.

My civic fits more junks in the trunk than my G.

Horrible trunk design, they should have made fold-down rear.

Ya but that's what the civic for put all the crap in there. I have another car (Hatchback with folding seat) for carrying all the crap too. IMO the G is not for that. I am happy with the trunk size.

I don't understand why Infiniti has a pass through for the coupe but not for the sedan which is supposed to be the more utilitarian of the 2. It's not like it would be all that hard to implement. Oh well, maybe the added structural bracing needed for the pass through is the reason why the coupes always weigh more than the sedans.

but
If the sedan's rear seat folded down, perhaps we'd have to give up our hidden gun compartment.

My sedan has a pass through. Maybe that's new on the '08?

I think the coupe's rear seats fold down because their trunks are practically useless.

don't know about the G37s, but the 07+ sedans has latteral reinforcements behind the back seats for a more rigid frame design.

When was the last time I complained about a trunk capacity of a sports sedan?

That is what my Matrix is for, hauling stuff around, the G is for hauling a$$
