It ain't you; blame the marketing department at Infiniti for that.
FWIW, they did the same thing back in the '90s with the G20.

Quote: Looks like your questions have already been answered regarding the sport package on the 08. As for the illuminated kickplates, they look sweet. Here is a pic of Vasiliy's illuminated kick plates on his G37.
wow those kick plates do look sweet.....any info on how/when/price we can get this on our G's?

Ha Ha..... My car is a rare collectors item now!!

J/K Basically the car is identical, it just sounds like Infiniti changed how they name it.

I heard something to the effect that Infiniti is saying a true "Sport" model should only be a manual which they think is the purist way of belief. I can see that to an extent. However, I agree though that if you're going to say the Sport model should only be 6Mt then you can't offer the exact same options, minus transmission, on the auto. Just seems like a marketing scheme for sure.

For one...make the damn sport lower....its always been ridiculous to me that the Journey and Sport both need to be lowered no matter what year.

The reason the car isn't lowered is that it is a mass marketed sedan.

And the masses would rather have a better ride than better handling in a sedan.
