I was in the middle east for much of December and i was driving around my 2004 G35 Sedan LP (my daily driver while im out there working), and i must say after coming back to the US and hopping back in the 07' its such a night and day difference, its unreal. Also upon my return back to sunny south florida i got a little but not a alot of cold weather and the G just f'in kicks *** and takes no names with cold air running thru the HR. i LOVE IT. I dont know if its because i didnt drive it for 3 weeks but it feels like it pulls harder and doesnt wanna stop


just wanted to share my story

anyone else been away from their G for a prolonged period and when they got back loved the car more than when they first got it?

 

I was just gone for a week, on a road trip with the fam in our Sequoia. The Sequoia is a great truck and all, but the morning we returned I hopped into the G. And it molded itself around me as usual, the seat and wheel coming forward to meet me, and in every turn it felt solid and flat.

It's good to be home

 

Hah yeah I have an old truck which I drive once a week, going back to the
G reminds me of how spoiled I am, same with driving the GF's car
it's easy to get used to the G with daily driving

this weekend I went up to some twisties up near Ojai
ahh I'm in love. . .DS mode. . .more power and grip than I know
what to do with . . .

Juan, glad to see you made it back safely. I was without my G for almost a month while in Europe back in October so I can completely relate.

Seven weeks while my G was in the body shop recovering from a deer attack.

Every day that I drove my Jeep was agony. Now that I have my G back, I'm willing to take my daughter anywhere she wants to go, anytime.

 

i JUST got it back yesterday after parents took it away for 48 days or 6 weeks and 6 days (i counted each and everyday) after i brought it back home at 7 am after my hs homecoming when i was supposed to be due back at 1 am. words couldnt explain how happy i was. i had one of those ear to ear smiles

 

im missing my car so much i can barely sleep....lol......i dont think im going to be able to leave my car at school anymore (for winter break)....i can only think about what im going to do to her when i get back.....wow that sounded dirty
