Throttle Body Sensor stopped working

Throttle Body Sensor stopped working
So it was Xmas eve and I picked up a few things at the local grocery store for dinner. Made my purchase, ready to go home and started my car. Shifted into 1st gear, stepped on the gas pedal and stalled. HUH? Started the car up again, reved the engine a few times, shifted into first, and stalled again!
Turned off the car, waited a few minutes, tried to turn on the car and it would just idle, No response from the gas pedal. Couldn't rev the engine anymore. The check engine, VDC, and Slip lights remained on. Everything with the car worked except the car would not respond to me stepping on the gas pedal.
Called Infiniti road side assistance and within 30 min they had a tow truck there, took my car to my local dealer, i hopped into a loaner and was on my way. I was pretty impressed with the service i received. They also threw in 3 free oil changes since it was xmas eve.
Anyhow, my car has 34000 miles and the throttle body sensor gives out? Well guess we all can't have flawless cars. They are replacing the entire throttle body and I should have my car this evening. Can't wait since the base 07 loaner does not compare to my "S".
Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this and how did your car respond afterwards?

WoW.... That exactly happend to me a few days before xmas. Except, it was late at night and they couldnt get a tow truck to pick up my car until the morning. So i was stranded for a few hrs waiting for a friend to pick me up. Services at the dealership was pretty good. Sign and drive "Loaner". They ended up replacing the Throttle chamber and so far my car is fine...
FYI - I got the 05 coupe with 22,000mi

this happened to me on my 02 sentra ser specv twice(drive by wire qr25de motor). since the car was in the condition that nothing could be warranteed(heavily modified).....i bought a junk yard throttle body for 75 bucks and was good as new. I guess its a problem from the manufacturer of the throttle body. Glad they hooked you up for the troubles.
i also found that doing the ecu reset proceedure fixed the problem a couple of times. ( so in reality it happend to me 4 times on my sentra)
